Thank you! Although I would have preferred avoiding it all together by seeing more NO votes the first time, the strategy appears to have worked. Those who wanted amendments or to bring the bill up for discussion for whatever reason exposed even further the incompetency of Harry Reid and the arrogance of Senators like Spector, Durbin, Kennedy, McCain and Reid, while at the same time shutting the bill down. The people had to scream like hell, and thankfully at least a few of the Senators didn't turn a deaf ear. Norm steps up and votes NO on cloture! Thank you!

I have already (months ago, in fact) started doing what you suggest. There is one CRUCIAL piece left out of your proposal, however. It isn't enough to simply not give money. You have to loudly TELL them they're not getting money (and why). Otherwise they think you're just being cheap, or that you forgot. Or do as I have done: Send them 5$ and tell them "you'll get the rest when YOU start supporting the Republican party." Andy, once again you are correct on principle, but slightly off on tactics.
