My Grandma is back in the hospital again. Last time she went in for an obstruction, and the brilliant doctors decided she was getting a pace-maker. They sent her home with out nary a treatement for the orginal condition.
Well, she had to be taken in today again. The pacemaker seems to be getting infected, or drawing one.
We think she may be fine, but the pacemaker may need to come out.
Now, had the effin doctors consulted family, instead of strongwilling a 93 year old lady into a risky medical procedure and not sharing the decision with her family, we would have explained to them how she had a series of infections, and it was strongly advised that she not have foreign materials in her body. Like pacemakers.
And you twits want Government run health care.

Best wishes to your Grandma. An almost identical situation happened with an uncle of mine. Pacemaker 90+, family not consulted.
