    So much for deterrance.

Rep. Ellen O. Tauscher (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Armed Services subcommittee that handles strategic weapons, said in an interview last week that she expects that the question of future U.S. nuclear weapons policy will be passed to the next administration, since the Bush White House is preoccupied with other subjects.

Of course we all know Pelosi’s Democrat run US House is going to delay all pro-National Security decisions in which the Democratic ideas put the country at risk off until the take back the White House. It is sad that Democrats are playing politics with National Security.

Here we have Iran and North Korea waving the sabers of nuclear war, and Congressional Democrats are delaying vital decisions and programs that we would need, should the you know what hit the nuclear fan.

The Democrat’s plan for National Secuirty is to ignore it.

I think it is time to put adults back in charge of Washington.

Andy, Let’s take a different approach. If Democrats vote against bills that would make us safer, let’s give them ‘credit’ for their deeds. In fact, let’s highlight their ‘accomplishments from now until that first Tuesday in November, 2008.
