That’s a list of the charges against a Democratic Congressman.
WASHINGTON — The political scuffle over Rep. William Jefferson’s corruption charges appeared to be at a boiling point on Tuesday, a day after the nine-term congressmen was hit with 16 federal charges accusing him of using his political office to bribe businessmen and influence foreign officials.
Rep. Jefferson (D New Orleans) had $90,000 of cold hard cash in his freezer. Democrats have stonewalled the investigations into the corruption at every turn. So much for Washington getting cleaned up with Democrats in charge.
How can you clean up Washington when you have crooks running it?
