Details Emerging of FEC Audit for MNGOP ?????? -Update!

The following flashed on The Strib’s Politics page earlier this afternoon.
State GOP could face auditJune 05, 2007 - 4:06 PM
The Minnesota Republican Party could face a federal audit after missing a Monday deadline to respond to questions regarding 11 amended financial disclosure reports covering 2005 and 2006.
I cannot find hide nor hair of it anymore on their website. I am guessing it will appear later tonight for tomorrow’s edition or is a complete mistake.
I will try to figure out what this is about.

According to a source, the story was pulled because it was full of inaccuracies. It seems the Strib may have a couple intrepid liberal reporters who are trying to inflict revenge on the Party and Carey on the eve of his election.
My source said that the MNGOP has answered the FEC questions timely, and that the Strib’s story is based on falsehoods.
Seems that when the Strib had a fire sale of reporters, they only kept the ones that fit their pro-liberal DFL agenda.

I have no clue. the code in this one is all messed up and not working as it is supposed to.
I’m guessing your browser loaded the gif wrong or partially, and you are only getting one frame of it.
