  • McCain - Going Where Few Want To, But Proudly

Posted by Andy on May 24th, 2007

John McCain sent out an “In Case You Missed It’ email this morning that linked to an editorial in the Union Leader.

McCain is gambling his political career on his belief that Americans want a leader, not a follower. So far, no other presidential candidate has had the guts to do the same.

I don’t think he is gambling his political career as much as trying to save it. And frankly where he is trying to lead this country (Amnesty and Freedom squashing laws and to Big Government) to a place I don’t want it to go and I believe the majority of Republicans would agree.

Prospects: McCain is gunning for a VP spot. That’s the best he can do in this.
