This came in overnight from a loyal reader.
If the Dems are the true patriots in this country, why do they need to RECLAIM Patriotism? And why do they need a ten step guide to show their support for the troops?
Good questions. I think the John Edwards wing of the anti-war pacifist party are kinda like those parents who let their kids play sports, but stand on the sidelines talking about their Volvo instead of watching or cheering on their kid.
Seriously, if you were a kid playing sports and your parents stood on the sideline protesting the game you were playing in, and trying to stop the game altogether, would you believe that they really support you?
OK Republicans, it is time to push aside the poll results and get real. We cannot walk away from the war on terror. The enemy we face in Iraq is the type that knows no borders. They will follow us where ever we go. So buck up, and beat these pacifist punks to a pulp.
Show your true support for the troops and support the war. Winning this war is more important than you!
