  • Pictures Speak Louder Than Anonymous Letters!

Posted by Andy on April 27th, 2007

I’ve heard from a few people that they are pretty sure that this anonymous coward is just trying to get me out of this race. Unfortunately, that isn’t my style.  One person is pretty confident they know who it is.

Here’s a taste of my response to this cowardly attack from this punk, who most likely is not even a 6th District resident.

FTR: Both of my known opponents have called to say they had nothing to do with this.

Well said. A perfect response to a cowardly attack.

Very appropriate remarks, and very true. I too remember how hard you worked for Bachmann last year after the endorsement (you forgot to mention distributing and delivering herlawn signs!) and how you emphasized unity. I also remember that even before the endorsement, when you were still supporting another candidate, you often defended Bachmann against out-of-line personal attacks or malicious gossip, both in casual conversations and on your blog.

The first thing to keep in mind when reading an opinion piece (or even an ostensibly neutral news piece) is “Consider the source.” In the case of the anonymous attack piece on you, considering the source is impossible, because the source doesn’t want to be associated with his/her own comments. So I place zero value on them.

In the time I have known you as a friend and done political work with you, I have never known you to be dishonest or sneaky. You are forthright, you own your missteps, and you can certainly take pride in your accomplishments. I look forward to more AAA leadership!
