Very appropriate remarks, and very true. I too remember how hard you worked for Bachmann last year after the endorsement (you forgot to mention distributing and delivering herlawn signs!) and how you emphasized unity. I also remember that even before the endorsement, when you were still supporting another candidate, you often defended Bachmann against out-of-line personal attacks or malicious gossip, both in casual conversations and on your blog.

The first thing to keep in mind when reading an opinion piece (or even an ostensibly neutral news piece) is "Consider the source." In the case of the anonymous attack piece on you, considering the source is impossible, because the source doesn't want to be associated with his/her own comments. So I place zero value on them.

In the time I have known you as a friend and done political work with you, I have never known you to be dishonest or sneaky. You are forthright, you own your missteps, and you can certainly take pride in your accomplishments. I look forward to more AAA leadership!
