		<description>Interesting results.  I would have expected Thompson to do well among conservative activists, but I'm surprised he did that well, particularly since he hasn't declared, yet.

I'm a little surprised McCain pulled better than either Romney or Guliani.  I would guess if Thompson wasn't in the mix, those two would pull more of the Thompson votes than McCain might.

One of the things I really hold against McCain is McCain-Feingold.  Unfortunately Thompson was a vocal supporter of that as well, so I have to hold it against him, too.  However, I do believe Thompson is a more reliable platform choice than Senator McCain.</description>
