It Says A Lot About a District when they don’t learn from their electoral mistakes.
A man charged with vehicular homicide in the deaths of two Somali women last month has traveled to China and prosecutors fear he plans to stay there, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office reported today.
Fei Ni, 23, of Brooklyn Park, posted $100,000 bail after his attorney argued that he had extensive family and connections in the Twin Cities, and therefore did not present a flight risk, said Assistant County Attorney Paul Scoggin. (Source: PiPress)
Sheesh, as if the former HCA, A-Klo (now Sen. Amy Klobuchar) wasn’t bad enough, this guypreceeded her. When will they learn that they may want to pick someone who takes violent crime seriously, and elect someone who will actually punish criminals so they aren’t walking the streets endangering the innocent?
OK OK, this guy does happen to be in China, he’s no risk to Hennepin County residents.

But Scoggin had asked when his office charged Ni that the defendant’s passport be surrendered. The judge deleted that requirement, Scoggin said.
Ah yes, blame the judges, Klobuchar was good at that too.
