“Veto Pens”, I Wish I Had Thought of That … Oh Wait

The MNGOP has apparently ordered a bunch of Pawlenty Taxapalooza Veto pens….
RF Flashback: November 8, 2006 : The Democrats Didn’t Win, We Beat Ourselves
I think we should all symbolically send Bush and Pawlenty pens. Veto pens. They are going to need them.
I also remember a conservative group on teh U of M campus saying they were actually going to send him some back in November.
But all in all, kudos to the State Party, I mean they finally seem to realize that all the Republicans have is a goalie. There are no defensemen, forwards, and I’m not sure we have an equipment manager…..
It is just kinda too bad that all we can do is hope and pray that Pawlenty can veto every liberal thing, and that the DFL can’t override him. It is a little odd for a goalie’s cheerleaders to be talking trash, or throwing chin high fastballs if you will (by handing out ‘veto pens’ to dare the DFL ) but it is all we can do since we lost so badly in both the House and Senate.
I certainly hope sending out pens to voters saying that Pawlenty is going to veto anything the DFL passes isn’t the game plan for claiming a victory in this session and planned as ammo for the 2008 elections.
Closed Circuit to Pawlenty: Use the pens! I’ll buy you a big fat fancy pen and big juicy steak dinner if you can reduce the size and burden of Government by cutting all the crazy spending and tax increases that will bankrupt America’s future.
Limited goverment equals more freedom.

Collegians For A Constructive Tomorrow at the U of M has had silver stainless steel ballpoint pens made up with the engraving “Constructive Veto Pen” written on it.
MNGOP took the idea when we told them about it.
…look what happens when we don’t trademark it!! haha.

The thing I find encouraging is the apparent unity of the small GOP caucus that is left, planning to sustain those vetoes.
