WOW, FOX 9 Helps Speaker Kelliher Push Tax Increases

Just saw DFL Spreaker Kelliher on the local Fox News, and the host Alex Kendall just called Republicans pessimists, and pushed the DFL meme that property taxes should be based on income. And when she said that their income tax increase doesn’t match with the Senate’s version, Kendall didn’t even ask what the compromise might look like. Fact: Whatever bill reaches Pawlenty has to be agreed to by both sides.
Obviously, both DFL bodies have no intention of actually passing these bills into law, or they would be working together. They are playing a PR game, both andering to certain groups, and all the time spent this session will have been a waste, but the DFLers are probably hoping that they will be able to campaign on a message that they tried to do it, but Pawlenty and teh Republicans just wouldn’t let them.
I’ll see if I can find the video later, but this thing was very one sided. This wasn’t a softball interview, it was T-ball.
