Back in November 2006 I was asked to join the John McCain effort as his Chairman for Veterans Outreach. I turned down the position however to tackle a problem closer to home. The secret is out, I’m a candidate for the Chairman of the Minnesota Republican Party on June 9, 2007.
I found upon my return from military service in October 2006 that the GOP in Minnesota had lost its initiative and was in need of new dynamic leadership. Over the last few months I have received nearly 50 calls from GOP faithful to run for the next party chair. The GOP has lost significant ground in state elections in November 2004 and 2006. This trend must stop. So for now GI Joe is becoming GOP Joe. Please help anyway you can. We will get out of the trenches and march to victory together in November 2008.
