UnPatriotic - Yes, Guilt by Association
Posted by Andy on March 21st, 2007
The Anti-war protests that took place over the weekend were characterized as an expression of patriotism by so many, and the glossy coverage from the press was downright despicable.
It is pictures like this, that make me say that the people at these rallies are unpatriotic.

(Photo via a Facebook page, that claims not to support it)
Someone should have run over there and grabbed the Flag of this country, and saved it and an American soldier from being burned in effigy. How is this act any different from when Americans were burned and hung from that bridge in Iraq?
Seeing the depiction of an American soldier being burned along side an up-side-down American flag is so far over the line that it is a damn good thing this chunk of vomit was amongst liked minded #*@ks or those too cowardly to stand up FOR their country. I’m a tolerant person, but….
I have a bumper sticker on my truck, it reads…
If you must burn the flag, please wrap yourself in it first.
I highly recommend that anyone who thinks the picture above is ‘an expression’ and not an unpatriotic act, to follow the advice of my bumper-sticker.
