Fringe Liberals To Target Bachmann

GOPWingman notes a fringe left 527 group that is promising to target Rep. Bachmann in 2008.
Americans United for Change, the liberal 527 group, served notice Wednesday that it would target 18 House Republicans for their votes this year against bills to increase the minimum wage and make it easier for workers to unionize.
The liberal 527 special interest supported increasing the cost of doing business, and removing the privacy of such union votes. This group is obviously nothing more than a front group for Big Labor and Unions.
“Americans United for Change is prepared to make ‘poster children’ out of these 18 Members,” said Jeremy Funk, a spokesman for the group. “If it takes television ads, online protests and public events with angry constituents to get these folks to do the right thing by middle-class Americans, so be it.”
Try as these fringe liberal groups might, minimum wage workers, who they pretend to represent, are not member of the middle class. But facts are stubborn things, and often just get in the way of single issue special interests when it come to partisan politics.
Will the local press do an expose on this fringe liberal groups’ activities and agenda? Or will they willing accomplices in the local MSM just take the talking points of Bachmann detractors and help spread the word? I have a strong feeling we already know the asnwer to that one. Besides, everyone knows, only the center right special interest lie, and use fear and intimidation. (snicker)
