Another MN Senate Race, Another Chance for Ciresi to be Rejected
Mike Ciresi who is better known by some for his get rich by suing big tobacco than his political prowess is going through his usual election year routine. He’s thinking about running for the Us Senate….. again.
Attorney Mike Ciresi, most noted for his landmark victory over the tobacco industry, said Sunday that he is forming an exploratory committee for the 2008 Senate race, making him the first DFL candidate in what is expected to be a ferocious contest to unseat Republican U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman.
“I’ve got a real passion and desire to do this because of the opportunities I’ve had in my life,” said Ciresi, 60, who lost a 2000 Senate primary to one-term U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton.
The guy is turning into the Oli Savor (sp) of the DFL Senate races. Every time the Minnesota seats are up, this rich fat cat liberal runs. And everytime, he is rejected by his own Democratic party.
It might be time for this guy to just concentrate on suing some one so he can make a few more million dollars.
