Both Coleman and Pawlenty have spoken out against "The Surge." I'm worried that both are looking at waning public support for the war and are taking the politically expedient position over doing the right thing. I agree with your hubby but the general that ran Desert Storm and the one that led the troops most of the time in Iraq now, both are against this. The Logical Husband (US Army ret) is absolutely tied in knots over this and he is opposed to the war. However, he is militarily savvy enough (unlike some liberals who think they know better than recruiters and the field generals) to know that if the generals want it, then there is a bloody reason for it!
