MNGOP State Central Meeting Request
I received this letter and was asked to post it.
To: Ron Carey, Chairman, Republican Party of Minnesota
Re: Request for State Central Meeting
Mister Chairman,
It has come to our attention that the State Central Meeting held September 30, 2006 in Blaine, Minnesota, did not have the attendance by delegates to meet the quorum requirements (30 percent from no fewer than 29 counties) as required by the Republican Party of Minnesota Bylaws Article II, Section 3.
In addition, the Republican Party of Minnesota Bylaws, Article II, Section 7, states that there shall be two (2) meetings per year.
In accordance with the Bylaws of the Republican Party of Minnesota, which specifically state in Article II, Section 2, that a meeting may be called at the request of 20 members (delegates) of State Central coming from 2 separate Congressional Districts. We the undersigned, request a State Central Meeting be held within the next 30 days.
Thank You,
1. 11.

I am an alternate, so I don’t think I can sign this. Are there 20 people out there willing to? Comment or email me, and I will add you to this letter.

Andy – There has to be a state central meeting in Dec to approve the budget for 2007. I’ve heard that it will be held Dec 2 – don’t know where but certainly in the metro somewhere.
