Get this:
Stating today, Tommy Mischke will make his Catholic school educators all over St. Paul proud by ascending to a radio program that does not share any hours with night time: weekdays, Noon to 2pm.
Via Am 1500 email.
Good grief are they hitting that low for talent. No offense is intended to Tommie. He’s got a niche audience, that’s fine. But that ain’t noon to 2. People who listen to AM radio at that time are looking for serious news commentary. Sorry, but that ain’t Tomiie.
I am afraid that AM 1500 is trying to commit radio suicide. There is no other explanation for their hemoraging of their talent. Time after time, people have left that place whether on their own, or at teh request of program directors.
They remain content at mediocrity and simply having a voice on teh air, meanwhile people are emmigrating away from what used to be the home of good conservative talk.
What the heck happened down there? The next thing I expect to hear is that they have cancelled the Bob Davis show.

No onder the Strib is so excited about the growth downtown, they are planning more hotels, and hotels are great for padding those subscription numbers. The Strib is going to need them to continue charging premium prices for ad space.

Down 4.1% in 6 months and they keep on digging. There is time to save your paper, but you need to start right now by being fair, balkanced, and unpredictable. Right now, there is no reason for conservatives, (who make up a significant portion of Minnesota and thus your potential subscribers) to buy your stinking paper.
Only a fool pays for something that does nothing more than insult his intelligence on a daily basis. Can you stand another 4.1% loss in the next 6 months? And keep in mind this has been during one of the most intense political climates this state has seen. These numbers should be the evidence you need to see you need to CHANGE THE WAY YOU DELIVER THE NEWS.

Sphere: Related ContentUpdate: I forgot to mention the best part. Being that I now play the part of the indomitable, plucky, but really klutzy heroine in the sitcom that is my life, I fell down the stairs on my way to the car as I was leaving my apartment– concrete stairs, caught a heel, and fell down about three of them before stopping. I got a little bruised up, and scattered my make-up bag’s contents everywhere, but I didn’t rip my pants or chip any teeth, so I felt pretty good about it. My left hand got skinned up pretty good, but I figure, “if it bleeds, it leads!” I was like headline news today! Just thought you guys would enjoy that. Just perfect. My national TV debut, and I go splat on the steps 20 minutes before it starts. Ha ha. It’s so me.

Mike Hatch and I are gay lovers.
That is why I am so opposed to his being Governor. I know him personally and know he shouldn’t be a good Governor.

Leona Pussyratfink of the MOB blog psychomister is trying to fracture the MOB. He has set up a splinter group of blogs in an attempt to ursurp the MOB, the St. Cloud Area Blogs, or SCABs are an illigitimate and unconstitutional organization. No doubt Leona is bitter from his defeat in the MOB elections. He did try to cheat, and even that didn’t help him win.
So as this MOBnation will not fracture under my leadership, I am installing a link embargo to any of these SCABs.
Larry Schumacher
Let Freedom Ring!
Psycmeistr’s Ice Palace
SCSU Scholars
MOB Executive Order #003 - Thou shalt not link to the SCABs!
I hope this embargo is successful. Because I will not let the MOB dissolve under my leadership (snicker). I would hate to have to send in the MN Militia and or god forbid, use the remaining KAR nuclear weapons to destroy the ceading bloggers.

Seriously, oh, the Dems are lashing back at the Republicans for making them look like the whiny little bed wetters that they are. See for yourself.
Mindless Bedwetter 1: Oh, my god, Bush said stay the course, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mindless DNC Bed Wetter 1: “Quick Howard Dean what do we do?”
Dean: “Yeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww! Oh, excuse me, I didn’t see you come in.”
Mindless DNC bed Wetter 2: “The GOP is climbing in every poll across the nation. It appears that America doesn’t really want to lose the war on terror.”
Dean: “Well, let’s just make the American people believe that staying until we ensure that the terrorists can’t win, is bad. And that the term stay the course means defeat, yes defeat. You see, we have no plan for Iraq, hell we’ll cut and run so fast even the French will call us cowards. We must make the American people believe that there is no way to win, and convince them through naysaying that there are no terrorists there. If we can’t do that, we’ll never see the inside of the Oval Office that belongs to Rush Limbaugh again.”
Mindless DNC Bed Wetter 3: “Brilliant!”
Mindless Bed Wetter 2: “But how?”
Dean: “Make some web video that has Bush and Cheney saying Stay the course over and over. That has to work.”
If you are unwilling to ’stay the course’, you must surely want to cut and run.
OK then Democrats, what is your plan? Amy Klobuchar wants to negotiate with the terrorists.
Keith Eliison wants an immediate withdrawal of our troops.
You are a bunch of anti-war bed wetting cowards, aren’t you? Seriously.
