Sen. Chaudhary (DFL 50) Inappropriate in front of Teens
Posted by Andy on October 31st, 2006
State Sen. Satveer Chaudhary (DFL-50) saying he and the Governor are gay lovers in front of a High School audience during a debate.
Is that really the time and place for that type of silly statement, just to get out of a question?

Update:
Now this exchange followed Sen. Chadhary saying he has never heard Tim Pawlenty say the words free tuition before this campaign.
Great work by the Boots On guys.

I do have a comment. As a parent I am distressed that our current senator chooses to trivialize things that bring value to most Minnesotans–even in an educational setting. I do mean most Minnesotans value and particiapate in marriage. His decision to re-name the marriage ammendment the anti-gay marriage amendment demeans marriage and would make marriage between a man and a woman subjected to gay relationships. The majority rules–and the minority is protected in America. Marriage really has a long standing place in socieity. It is a non-partisan issue and nations and religions around the world have rules for passing on DNA and property rights. If the gay community want ‘rights’ they’re going about it through one very silly senator, who is inappropriate in front of our kids, and who dishonors our government and our governor. This same senator is the only senator not voting on the $42 million dollar public safety bill to protect our kids from Level III sex offenders. But he can divert attention from his lack of knowledge about ‘free tuition’ as the governor presented it in June of 2006, by turning an educational experience at Irondale High School into an experience in screaming cat calls and ridicule. So much for a level-headed, balanced treatment of tuition, marriage or gayness. http://www.hartanderson.com, you’re invited.
