		<description>I first encountered the actions of Sgt. Smith through Michael Yon's posts, I think.

Here is the link to the local website that we can hope will be perpetual, maintained by the St. Petersburg Times, giving depth to his life.

Part of the information war is telling the stories of these soldiers.  Thank you and all who are participating in this first (of many, I hope) memorials to those who gave their lives for America.
