Anoka County Residents, PAy Attention

I just received an email from the Anoka County Watchdog that there will be a debate for the Anoka County Commission races next week.
The League of Women Voters ABC and the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring a public candidate forum for candidates running in the primary for the office of Anoka County Commission Districts 1, 2 and 3 on August 31, 2006, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It will be held in the Anoka County Board Room #705, located at the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 Third Avenue North, Anoka. The Board Room #705 is located on the 7th Floor of the Government Center. The public is invited. It is our purpose to provide the voters of Anoka County with an opportunity to hear the candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this primary election.
If you care about the stadium, and your taxes in general, you had better get educated in who is running. I know there is a primary battle in my District. Is there one in yours? Do you really know the candidates? You should!
