Words To Live By
"The era of small government is over ... government has to be more proactive, more aggressive." ( Tim Pawlenty 2006)

"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

Murtha on Blitzer

Murtha on CNN’s Blitzer

Can’t get them (Bush) to change directions.

Troops suffering

Occupiers

We’re Fighting

3 years longer than WW1

Cut and run is ridiculous.

They GOP use sound bites and rhetoric

CNN poll
out 53%
no 43%

Blitz : American Public not where you are

Murtha: I think they are with me

“We can’t win this!”

Quotes a marine he said he heard from “We’ve lost our Mission”

42% of the troops want out

(duh wouldn’t you?)

Only 1% of our population is fighting this war, we’re not fighting it.

Americans do agree with me, this vote proves it

 whack job!

Blitz: Why’d you change your mind on Majority leader race?

Murtha: I didn’t. I’m still running. Just wanted to get a placeholder in there.

He will run for Majority leader if Dems win House.

end

I don’t think Blitzer even bothered to participate in this interview. Murtha said that this vote in the House was a sign that the American people want change in direction in Iraq.

Blitzer you maroon! F O L L O W U P !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try it sometime.

Like: What do you mean that this vote shows the American public wants change?

Murtha is really pushing the bounds of sounding credible with the spin he filled the airwaves with. I hope he doesn’t burn out too soon. We need him to make an arse of him for the next 5 months.

One Response to “Murtha on Blitzer”

  1. Gary Gross says:

I’ve posted on this ‘interview’, too, & I was struck by how Blitzer became the latest ‘journalist’ whose participation is best described as taking dictation for Murtha’s monologue. No followups. No challenging of Murtha’s information.

The truth is that we’ll see the same thing tomorrow from Tim Russert when Murtha appears on that show. Russert’s done this with Murtha before. For that matter, that’s what Chris Matthews does all the time when Murtha shows up.

I said yesterday on Murtha Must Go blog that Murtha is totally intoxicated with the limelight that the Agenda Media is giving him that he doesn’t realize how far gone he is & that it’s time to ‘fire him’ this November.
