There is a group out there, U.S. Labor Against the War that is so against war that they want to have people send a man most noteably known for besmerching the honor of our entire military and who is the biggest source of demoralization for our troops in harm’s way around today, for that to the military.

We encourage all USLAW affiliates, members and contacts to follow the lead of this initiative by USLAW affiliate SEIU District 1199P. Many Democrats are running scared away from Murtha. It is important to contact your local Democratic members of Congress to tell them they should not just support Murtha, they too should demand an immediate end to the war and occupation of Iraq.

In coordination with US Labor Against the War (USLAW), we are asking key leaders of important labor organizations in PA to join us in making calls to PA Congressman John Murtha to offer our support and encouragement for the courageous position he announced yesterday calling for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. Since making his public statement, Congressman Murtha has been under attack by Republicans, and many of his Democratic colleagues are distancing themselves from his position. He needs to know that we support his position and will stand with him.

I got a better idea. Why don’t the rest of us Patriots call Murtha and tell him he is a political opportunist for picking of all weekends Memorial Day weekend to come out and prejudge Marines. Give Murtha a call and tell him now is not the time to demoralize the troops and propagate slanderous pre-judged charges with out a full investigation.
Tell Murtha what you really think of him and his way of demoralizing our troops at a time of war.

Simple rule. Any idea, position or call to action by any person or any organization where the letter is signed “In Solidarity,…” will be bad for America.

Better yet, call Murtha’s office & tell him you don’t like him being judge, jury & executioner, THEN contriubuting to Diana Irey’s campaign so the people in PA CD-12 can ‘fire’ him this November.
