Newt Gingrich has been the unmentioned 08 contender the media has refused to mention. Why? He’s been working very hard stealing the Democratic issues. (Remember the side by side with Hillary on Health Care?) Now this. Newt doesn’t blame illegals for being illegal.
Mr. Gingrich said he sympathizes with illegal aliens participating in protests and placed blame for the illegal immigration problem on businesses and the federal government.
“I do not blame someone who leaves poverty to seek prosperity,” Mr. Gingrich said during a speech at the American Enterprise Institute. “They showed up here to work under a social contract and then [the government] tried to change the terms.
Newt is out racing Hillary for the centrist position, and I hope if this continues he runs right over that border. Where are all the conservatives?
Newt is putting the burden of border enforcement on citizens. What is the point of the Federal Government then?

Why is a public employee union, AFSCME, urging its members to skip work, participate in boycotts, and attend a pro-illegal immigrant rally?
Sphere: Related ContentLocal 3800 invites you to an information session on Thursday, April
27, from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in Amundson Hall Room 162 (East Bank). At the meeting we will have information about the immigrants rights
and workers rights activities taking place in Minneapolis on May 1st.
We will also answer any questions you may have about those activities

attend those activities. On May 1st, thousands of immigrants and other workers in Minnesota

part of the historic movement of millions of immigrant workers who are
standing up for dignity and basic rights as workers. The main activity in the Twin Cities will be a Rally for Immigrants
Rights, taking place on May 1st from 3:00 - 8:00 pm in Powderhorn Park

reunification, workers rights, equal opportunity in education (the
DREAM Act), and civil liberties and human rights for all.We encourage Local 3800 members to participate in this rally to stand
with our brothers and sisters, fellow workers here in the Twin Cities

An astute emailer points out that Out Front Minnesota (the Pro-Gay Marriage Group fighting that defeated the Marriage Amendment) which was mentioned in the Strib story I linked to earlier, receives $100,000 from the United Way.
I don’t know if you’re already aware of this, but OutFront Minnesota, the group battling the marriage amendment received no less than $99,819 in funding for 2006 from the Greater Twin Cities United Way. (You can check it out yourself at http://www.unitedwaytwincities.org/aboutus/financialsagencyfunding.cfm )
That means of the $180,000 that OutFront Minnesota Community Services spent on lobbying last year, over half was supplied by well-meaning citizens making donations to the United Way.
The United Way actually helped defeat the Marriage Amendment.
I don’t think many people know about this. I only know because I happened to take a couple of hours last fall to see exactly where my company’s contributions would go and was appalled to see special interest groups like OutFront scattered in with charities that help people who are truly in need. Unbelievable.
This should make us all think twice about those donations they guilt us in to at work. Don’t be be fooled, it isn’t always for a good cause.

Has anyone else noticed that the Marriage Debate isn’t about the definition of marriage anymore?
Way to go folks. 70% approval before it the movement for the amendment started, now it is a negative for Republicans.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
Moonbats, Nutters, and fever-swampers rejoiced to this I bet. An I have not the energy to fisk it.
If anyone cares, I burned an old couch in the back yard, released a case of air spray into the atmosphere, and poured crude oil down the storm sewer.
