Si I’ve been keeping busy and out of trouble today. Cleaning, painting, and an oil change at work. Well, on my way home from work, trouble found me. I was pulled over by a Highway Patrol. As he walked to the truck he was looking over my vehicle pretty closely. I had probably been exceeding the posted, so I hoped that was it.
I had my license ready for him. He asked for proof of insurance, and if the vehicle was registered in my name, which it was. He asked why I had been pulled over, and I said I was probably speeding. He said that when people speed, accidents happen, and people get killed.
He handed my information back, and said to drive carefully. I thanked him. No ticket!!!!!
So, I am now worried to leave my house. My luck may have run out for the day.
I have to wonder if it was the bumper stickers that saved me the ticket.

Andy,
Why play coy? You know you flirted your way out of that ticket. Your eyes promised that Highway Patrolman much more than your body is willing to deliver.
Keep batting those eyelashes!

In Montana, the number of motorists dying in car accidents doubled after the speeding limit was reintroduced. It was safer on Montana Highways when there wasn’t a speed limit. Speeding doesn’t cause accidents.
Never give that lecture to a police officer though. ever.
