When A Politician Lies, and Other Politicians Don’t Care

So, now that Dean ‘Lying Sack o’ Poo’ Johnson, DFL Senate Majority leader is off the hook, more details are coming to light. On AM1500’s Ron & Mark show, they were talking about statements from Johnson’s attorney that if Johnson’s testimony before the Ethics Panel would have continued, they would have brought in witnesses to testify that the conversations Johnson originally talked about (in the taped speech) actually happened.
I rarely agree with Ron & Mark, but I am just as outraged as them that this issue is now done. So it is ok to either force Supreme Court Justices to give opinions on possible cases or it is ok to lie about it if it suits the Liberal political agenda.
I’m sorry, but all the Republicans who have demanded we move on, and forgive, are wrong. Johnson’s lie keeps getting worse and worse. He has abused the trust given to him as an elected official, possibly corrupted our judiciary, and spent the last few weeks making up lie after lie to cover his ass.
Johnson has always been a slime-ball as far as I’m concerned as he is putting the DFL agenda above that of the State of Minnesota. He is the chief obstructionist, he is the reason the State shut down last year. He is the reason there is so much ill will at the Capital. He is the biggest liar down there.
So why the hell did the Republicans back off? It wouldn’t be kicking a guy when he is down, when he’s pissing on your shoes. You fools! This guy has given you documented proof that he is a lying partisan hack, and what do you do? Forgive him. For crying out loud, this guy is about to blame the whole thing on the Republicans. Are you going to still think he should be forgiven then?
Johnson messed up big time, he finally got caught on tape lying his ass off. So why is he getting a free pass?
