US Senate - Laws Don’t Matter
Posted by Andy on March 28th, 2006
This is the worst piece of legislation ever, EVER!
The Senate Judiciary Committee last night approved a plan that would put millions of illegal aliens on a path to U.S. citizenship, would let them stay here while applying and would not punish their unlawful entry as a felony, contrary to a House-passed bill.
“A path to earned citizenship is what this bill is all about,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, said after joining all Democrats and three other Republicans on the panel to approve the plan, which many consider an “amnesty.”
You idiots, we have a path to citizenship. This is a joke right? We’re not really talking about forgiving people that broke laws, are we?
The plan approved by the committee — taken from a bill written by Sens. John McCain, Arizona Republican, and Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat — would fine current illegal aliens $2,000 each. The bill also would require aliens to undergo criminal background checks and mandate that they maintain employment over the six years they wait to get in line for full citizenship, a process which takes several more years.
I guess we are. Oh, and look at the conductors behind this crappy piece of legislation, McCain, and Teddy Kennedy. I’m not so surprised that they’d be behind a bill like this’ origin, but I am saddened that other Senators would get on board the illegal immigration train.
Do we really need Congress making laws anymore, since they are now writing laws forgiving people who break laws?

This is absolutly outrageous. This is about the laws of our land.
So, let me get this right, big business and the illegals both who break our immigration laws get off scott free with benefits that the US citizens pay for. And the law abiding citizens of this country both nationals and immigrants get what? for be law abiding.
Well how about fairness, let all of the individuals who are in the prison that have been convicted of misdeameoners free and give them the benefits.
As an African, I am appauled, with the disporportinate numbers who are in prison for the same crime level. This country was built on the backs of the African Americans during the more than 300 years of slavery, in which we were not paid anything, not allowed to participate in this society that we built. Just another slap in the face. What about our reparations, you know, the 40 acres and a mule. And now the best that we are offered are jail cells. Totally disgusting and not in the interest of a society that says that it is a couontry of laws.
Well I guess the usual has occurred, the lasw are changed to benefit to fit the needs of the haves and to hell with the rest of us.
Well when the rest of the population decided to break the laws of our land, don’t think you are just going to be able to put them in jails.
Totally disgusted
