DFL Digs Deep into GOP, So I Dig Into DFL’s Breadbasket

Jess from DFLers.org is kidding. Right?
As part of the effort to regain the public’s trust in government, DFL Senators Linda Higgins, John Marty, and John Hottinger are introducing legislation to strengthen Minnesota ethics laws. Their proposals focus on figuring out who’s influencing government, and why. Just the kind of election-year question GOP incumbents are hoping we won’t ask…
Great, we get to find out where ALL the money comes from. How about this?
Education Minnesota’s Political Donating last year-
$6,500.00 to the House Republicans. I know, you must be as outraged as I am that the Republicans took over $6,000 from a lobbying group. (sigh!)
But wait, guess how much was donated to the DFL?
Give up?
Try over $63,000
I really hope we can get to the bottom of where all the money is coming from. Please please tell me where the 700K that Education Minnesota spent went. I didn’t bother to add up all the small donation to individual DFL campaigns. Since the DFL and its Bankroll, EdMN are so hellbent on saying there isn’t enough money for Education, I would think they’d be more than willing to explain why the Education lobby in MN is so damn expensive.
I think the DFL had better get a handle on this one, and right quick. The next thing we’ll know is that the Unions spend millions trying to buy more protectionism through lobbys.
