Samuel Alito’s nomination has been approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on a straight party line vote. It is off to the floor now. If the party lines and proimises hold up, if I’m not mistaken, Alito will be confirmed 56 yeahs to 44 neahs. Will the Democrats deploy their own nuclear option to appease their base/activists/source of money?

Will they do it? Time will only tell, but I’m just waiting for them to try.

Sure Harry Reid apollogized for his attack on 33 GOPers, but I don’t think that just saying you are sorry makes up for clearly thought out slandering.

But what I would love to know is if the Democrats think that if a Senator’s own neglegence lead directly to the death of someone, Should that Senator step down, be removed, or stay in office?

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Nearly a year after her death, the husband of Terri Schiavo has applied for a marriage license.

The St. Petersburg Times reports Michael Schiavo and his longtime girlfriend took the action Friday. The pair live together and have two young children. Relatives say the wedding will likely take place before Valentine’s Day.

Do Americans who seek to harm America (I.E. Talk to known bads guys.) deserve to have the same rights and priviledges as normal everyday Americans that love America and want to see it protected?
