Can Wilf Claim the Lemon Law?

RF is completely disgusted with the boating allegations too!
BUT a reliable source who has been in contact with Vikes owner Ziggy Wilf in recent days has told me that he may be having buyer’s remorse. In candid conversations, the old saying ‘that you can’t trust a used car salesman‘ brought a laugh to Wilf and even lead to a reference to the “Lemon Law“.
It is unconfirmed so far, and shaky at best, but the stadium plea by Wilf and the Vikes is being shelved. Wilf never intended to just own an NFL team like his predecessor, and is taking the recent behavior and performance (or lack there of) of his team to heart and he is focussed on building a professional sports team that Minnesota can be proud of before he builds a stadium.
Sunday’s dismal performance in Chicago aside, along with the ribbing from my 11 year old nephew from Chicago on the phone tonight. No one in Anoka County or Minnesota is willing to spare a dime for the assembled punks and degenerates that call themselves the Minnesota Vikings, let alone several hundred million for a new stadium. So rumor has it that Wilf will be pulling his pitch until 2007 or later.
My source leads me to believe that we may have a serious owner in town that cares about the image his players project, and is determined to take the necessary steps to correct them. Not that this is a silver lining in any way, but there does seem to be one less pro sports team owner with their hand out right now. We may have even gained a guy who wants a good team rather than any team. He has even called local officials to personally apologize for his team’s behavior, and promised that this is not the Vikings he is content to own.

Andy – have you seen Wilf’s press conference? There is a tape on Kare 11′s website. It sounded like he was taking responsibility for the team.
I live in MN. and there is nothing more ridiculous than how everyone is making such a fuss about this. It is not like none of us has never sinned as practically everyone has. But to microscope this and then blanket a whole team of 50 something players when only 17 of them were on the boat is a witch hunt at best. Wilf can’t claim lemon law on the vikes because they are not a lemon and it would be virtually impossible.
They just need to not worry about what everyone else is saying and just get after it!
Cheers,
B.

You have to admit that the Vikes don’t exactly leave a sense of professional on your mind.
So when buying a professional team, you have some expectations.
My point of the post was that maybe Ziggy is going to try and fix the Vikes’ problems. They do have quite a few.
