I hate crowds in every other venue -- even in concerts that I am attending, the "crowd claustrophobia" often hits -- but for some reason the FAIR (and the WI state fair, and Summerfest, and the EAA fly-in in Oshkosh) are totally enjoyable for me. The fact that I am an instinctual people-watcher may have something to do with it, but it doesn't explain everything. All that said, the few times I've been to the fair for two days, it has started to get old pretty quickly on the second day. Nope, can’t explain it.
