Casey Sheehan Didn’t Die For Nothing
Over at Blackfive, there is a post about Casey Sheehan and his fellow soldiers who died on Palm Sunday in Iraq protecting their friends and freedom.

As a Vietnam vet, I understand combat. These young men and women fighting for us today are some of the best that have ever worn the uniform. We MUST honor their bravery and sacrifice. To do otherwise is unAmerican. I only wish that I could fight along side them. What an honor it would be. That not being possible, those of us in the rear with the gear stateside should do everything within our power to make their job easier, materially, psychologically, and spiritually. I love these kids and mourn the loss and wounding of each and every one of them. Let’s show the same guts that they have shown in facing down those that would dishonor them. It is the least we can do.

Get to know Casey Sheehan
Through Michelle Malkin, I found a profiling of army specialist Casey Sheehan, whose mother, the one and only Saint Cindy, shows little signs of actually loving
That’s a terribly hateful and evil thing to say, Tel-Chai Nation.
Is trampling on the grave of her son, and the graves of thousands of others, a sign of love? Sorry, had she gracefully said that she really wanted to talk to the President and gone home, I’d give in to the “lefty hero” stuff. But the way that she has allowed, yes her!, this to tunr into a circus, shows that she has little consideration for how proud her son was to have served in Iraq.
She’s being used by Leftist groups, but now that she is going back to protest, it is further proof that she has lost sense of reality.
Again, I feel terrible about her loose, but what makes her more special than any of the other families?
[...] These people hate the American military. These are the same people that spit on our soldiers during Viet Nam. These are the same people who would have spit on Casey Sheehan if he had come home. And, keep in mind that he volunteered to be there on that rescue mission that cost him his life. Casey Sheehan’s Sergeant asked for volunteers. Sheehan had just returned from Mass. After Sheehan volunteered once, the Sergeant asked Sheehan again if he wanted to go on the mission. According to many reports (and according to his own mother), Casey responded, “Where my Chief goes, I go.†[...]
Why are we in Iraq?
I can understand afghanistan, we needed that.
How is Al Sadr or whatever his name is related to Al Quaeda.
Please dont tell me its because they both start with ‘al’.
There is no link people, Bush admitted that. When people make a mistake and when they accept it, they should not persist with it, they should fix it.
Iraq is just a bunch of Muslims (and all Muslims are radically dangerous anyway, they dont debate they destroy) pissed off at what they see a US invasion.
We’ve given them democracy, now let the UN rebuild it.
Why does America always have to do the fighting?
I am a fascist, i believe in war. War is important. It is a necessity, people will die, but more will be saved. But what are we doing in Iraq, ask yourself.
And if we do believe that invading Iraq was right because it may have had nuclear weapons, than erm we may have to invade Iran, North Korea, India and Pakistan(especially). We must be consistent with our foreign policy.
We sided with Iraq over Iran, Afghanistan over Russia. They all came back at us firing with US made guns. Why do we study history, so we learn from our mistakes. But do we?
Who do you think is funding economically and militarily Pakistan right now. Tibet?? Indonesia or maybe America.
Its going to turn back on us.
Just wait.
