State Central GOP Chair – Speeches and Pics

Here are the speeches for the chair of the party from Saturday. As well as a couple pictures

They include the nominators and candidates. I missed a small part of Ron Eibensteiner’s when my cell phone rang. Whoops.

I recorded them on my ipod, who knew that would come in handy? The clips are about 12 minutes long. They are in mp3 format and will begin playing in a new window. Click your back button to continue on here.

If anyone can help out identifying the nominators, it would be appreciated.

Ron Carey You decide.
Listen to this one carfully. Does this sound like more of an anti-Eibensteiner speech, or anti-Pawlenty’s policy speech. Excuse the very loud yeller, I was standing near the 4th CD (Carey’s home) when I recorded this.

Ron Eibensteiner You decide.
I missed a small portion in the middle due to the cell phone ring. But I did get all of Ron’s speech and most of Pawlenty’s.

Bill Pulkrabek You decide.
 Listen to the end when Pulkrabek’s run fell apart. It was his mutiny/day until this speech.

In the end, we all now know Carey won, but these speeches may speak louder than the actual post mortem rhetoric being bantered about by some. If I have the time I may transcribe them for posterity’s sake, but I make no promises.
